How DreamMatch works
DreamMatch is the research engine inside Dream Holiday Finder. It takes what matters to you, pulls together evidence from across the web, and shortlists the holidays that genuinely fit — with honest trade-offs surfaced up-front.
1. Tell us what matters
You describe your ideal holiday in your own words, or answer a short set of guided questions. You mark each preference as essential, preferred or nice-to-have, and list any absolute deal-breakers — things that would ruin the trip.
2. DreamMatch researches the options
We search across major booking sites, review platforms, hotel websites and map data — including Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Agoda, Airbnb, TUI, Jet2, YouTube and Google Maps — and use AI to synthesise what we find.
3. Deal-breakers filter first, preferences rank
Hard exclusions remove unsuitable options before scoring. Everything else feeds a weighted Personal Match score from 0–100, tuned to what you told us matters most.
4. Honest signals, not marketing
Every recommendation shows a Regret Risk rating, Review Confidence, estimated true total cost, the strongest reason to choose it and the main compromise. When evidence is thin, we say so — never a false level of certainty.
5. You stay in control
You can re-rank, refine one preference without restarting, save a search, set up alerts, or compare up to five options side by side. DreamMatch suggests — you decide.
